Pine Star - Dishwashers
Responsibilities and Duties
Support kitchen operations by unloading deliveries to company standard with consideration to cooler and storage etiquette. This includes break down of all boxes and proper placement and holding of all possible supplies.
Duties extend in to general maintenance of the property. It is the Dish Teams responsibility to maintain dumpster areas and any outside areas surrounding restaurant. The Dish team takes pride in their work by keeping the restaurant and surrounding areas clean and safe for our staff and guest.
Support Chef team in all necessary capacity, therefore upholding the needs of the entire kitchen
Set up/ breakdown of banquet tables.
Wash dishes, glassware, flatware, pots, and/or pans based on individual specific needs.
Replace clean dishes, utensils, and cooking equipment based on zones and station requirements.
Know and use proper chemicals with exact handling instruction.
Up keep of all trashcans and linen bins with attention to detail and cleanliness of all cans. This includes proper disposal.
Upkeep of Dish machine and Sanitizer
Upkeep of all utility maintenance not limited to: Floor, wall, cooler, equipment, workstation, and employee restroom.
Maintain acceptable standards of personal hygiene and uniform standards.
Follow safety regulations, reporting injuries or any unsafe and hazardous work conditions to Chefs
Keep all chemicals in designated location
Past restaurant experience is preferred, NOT required - if you are open & willing to learn, we will teach!
Qualifications and Skills
Must exemplify a team player with a contagious positive attitude.
Enjoys working in a fast paced, energy driven, kitchen environment with a focus on multi-tasking.
Is comfortable standing for extended periods of time, lifting up to 45 lbs., and able to bend and reach.
Must be able to take on a leadership role and accept feedback and coaching.
Executes perfect company safety and sanitation standards.
Always presents a positive and professional attitude, especially during high stress situations.
Comes to work on time with all necessary tools and in proper uniform.
